Kriega R25
Kriega back pack for sale - 25 litre capacity. Have a look at the link below for pictures and spec features.
http://www.kriega.com/pages_uk/r25/R25-topframeset.html Kriega bags, as you may know, are highly rated and I am only selling this one as it is slightly too big for me (5'6") so I will need to look at getting one size down. Only used once (trip to Scotland) so it's pretty much in perfect condition. For those of you with camelbacks, mine fitted perfectly in the front pocket too! I've also got the optional 25 litre waterproof liner (Kriega back packs are water resistant, but not 100% waterproof). The liner takes care of that. Can be used on its own too, e.g. if you are one of those who bungees a jumper or other possessions in a carrier bag to the back. http://www.kriega.com/pages_uk/uslin...pframeset.html The back pack is going new for £89, and the liner for £25. Will take £80 for the back pack or £100 for both (including postage). Jo |

Re: Kriega R25
Hi Jo, out of interest, which liner did you use for the liquid? I have an R25 and would like to buy a liner to put in the front pocket to use as a camelbak type thing, but just wondering which one you used so I know what fits best

Re: Kriega R25
Hi Matt. I have a 2 litre Camelbak reservoir (the actual water storage bag) which I ordinarily use with a Camelbak carrier pack. When used with the R25, I've simply put the reservoir into the front pocket (where the side zip is) of the R25 and routed the tube out of the top of the zip. I haven't bothered with any particular liner as, frankly, it's not really needed. The Camelbak reservoir is about the same length as the R25's front pocket, and in any case the external straps on the R25 hold it in place.
You can also get one of these: http://www.snowandrock.com/camelbak-...-product/10736 if you want to secure the tube more securely. Otherwise, I just slip the drinking bit of the tube through the big metal ring on the front of one of the straps of the R25 and that seems to hold it in place securely enough when I'm riding! Hope that helps Jo Last edited by darkdreamsgal; 05-07-10 at 10:43 AM. |

Re: Kriega R25
Thanks Jo, sorry when I said liner I meant reservoir, couldn't think of the proper name for them! I think I'll get one of these then - is this like what you have?

Re: Kriega R25
Yes, exactly like that, but mine is 2 litre. 1.5 should work well too (and in fact will take up less room in the front pocket, leaving more space in the main part of the R25 for your other belongings!).
