Mark, dear fellow,

All 3 excellent choices, especially loved Gerry Rafferty...reminds me of my childhood...the guitar solo still sends shivers up and down my spine now when i listen to it.

another one that reminds me of my chilodhood, used to be one of my mums fave songs :-

Really? I would have thought that the version from Hair would have appealed a bit more because of is "Hippy" connection and that of free love and peace to all...
The 5th diension version is very commercial and a bit stifled I feel. But as you say...each to their own
