Canon 550D DSLR + bits for sale

My better half is selling her Camera as she has just upgraded. A full DSLR camera ideal for someone who's starting out or wants to upgrade. She's would like £250. Camera is in good condition and shows a little wear and tear and functions perfectly well. It was serviced last year. The lens although it focuses fine the zoom is a little stiff but still works fine.

2 x hi capacity(2400mAh) pattern batteries
2 x normal capacity(800mAh) pattern batteries (not shown)

What's that huge thing that sticks to the bottom, in the top left?

A battery grip. It bolts in the bottom of the camera and you can out two batteries in it. Also a great help when doing images in portrait. I have the same on my 500d. It also balances the body if using large lenses.

Thanks! Where are you based? And can you recommend an external flash to buy for it (and from where)?

I'm based in South London or Dorset most days during the week. As for a flash any of the Canon speedlight range. All cheap enough on eBay. As for the model depends on how powerful you want it.
