I've made a start on cataloging my collection. So far I've done one small shelf and a camera bag and there is seventeen on the list. Still got two shelves, a display cabinet and four eighty litre tubs to do!

Merry Christmas to you all too. Never even heard of 10 shot film! The only thing camera-related I got was a roll of Lomo 800. I did, however, receive more liquorice allsorts than one normal man should ever consider

I saw that post, good luck with that! I may chuck a roll in my repaired X700 just to test the shutter. Saves chewing through a 24 roll. The spreadsheet is at 33 now, lots more to go!

Just checked and catalogued one of the 80 litre tubs and there are 61 cameras in it. I still have three more tubs to go....

Thanks, the weather wasn't really helpful in bringing any colours out. I've checked over tub two and with tub one and the existing list I'm up to 157. Still two tubs, two shelves, a display cabinet and a cupboard to go...

Good to see the X700 working at last. I think there's more in one of your tubs than my entire collection.
An inventory is a good idea though, I should follow your example because I don't really know what I've got, particularly when it comes to lenses.

And today, I shot some film. I needed to escape the house so went out for a walk and took the OM2sp with the unfinished roll of Chinese HP5. Big mistake! Once the sun came out, the colours on the trees and landscape were gorgeous. Wish I'd taken the Minolta XE1 which has a roll of Agfa in it.
I put fresh batteries in the Olympus at 9am and by 2.30 they were dead. I'm putting it down to the cold weather but if it misbehaves like that again, then it's banishment to ebay.

I should have done it ages ago. At least once its done it will be easier to add to if need be. If I average the cameras out at a tenner a go then I'm at just under £1600 so far.
