Garage floor ideas?
Looking for ideas on what to do with the garage floor. Its about 30 square metres of dusty concrete.
There are rubber interlocking tiles on ebay I like the idea of, but being soft and 1cm thick I reckon side stands might dig in, and it may feel too soft underfoot. I estimated today it would only cost £250 to tile, thats including the tiles, adhesive, PVA sealant and leveller, but a lot of work involved. I dont want to simply seal and paint, my garage is my den |

ask nicely at local carpet place. they sometimes give out the sample carpet squares. lots of different colours but you could make a nice design lol

3 mm ply wood nailed down will save the leveling cement, then how about some vinyl of some sort? or ceramic tiles? Anti Slip vinyle is nice bit of sticky and a saturday and jobs a goodun.. |

Re: Garage floor ideas?
Cover it in old oil, sheared-off bolts, rusty washers, bits of nonspecific debris and metal filings.

Re: Garage floor ideas?
You want to scout out your local parks with swings n slides n whatnot...
... then sneak back in the dead of night and scoop up enough of that safety matting they have to do the job. Hey - then if you drop your bike in the garage it shouldn't break anything... kinda... in theory... Ok, so it would work in some kind of fantasy land where things don't break when you drop them. Um - sorry, am I not helping? |

However, just been looking in there again, dont know if I want to go to the effort of shuffling everything round time and time again to tile it. These are the rubber jobbies: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.d...m=330109212328 |
