I left enough rubber and bike bits for them to melt down and repair it, so it'll be fine...

No. I was two up all day and thus taking it easy.

I go for a nice little bimble in the countryside and show you lovely gravel strewn beautiful teensy roads in the **** end of nowhere you all stay topside. Then I conduct you to a perfectly surfaced nice twisty main road, which is when you start chucking yourselves at the scenery!

Too kind - do try to keep up there's a good chap.

Agreed, I wasn't able to really push it in any of the corners, yet had no difficulty keeping up.

keeping upright however was more a challange, and that's evn without the bike

Cheers Mark.

Just seen this (bit of a stranger of late), really sorry Jamie, immensely glad you're okay, at least the bike's not too bad. All part of the learning curve (do please excuse the pun), just consign the experience to the Painful Memories Folder, and move on. Rubber side down, naturally .

Well, looks like I'll be back on the road again today for the princely sum of £17 for a new footrest...

Sid Squid will be bunging my old snapped clutch lever back on, has drilled and bolted the gearshift, and used Suzuki Specialist Tool 2765542-G1* to bend the bars back into a useable shape...

*To those without the Suzuki Tools Catalog, it looks remarkably like a big piece of scaffold tube...
