Dear oh dear...some justice that, Fwank gets his red card rescinded (and rightly so in my opinion), yet Bosingwa gets away scot free after physical assault on the basis that the linesman/referee's assistant saw it.

2 things wrong here, firstly, it's a sending off offence (and also assault - should the local plod have done something?), secondly, if the linesman saw it, why did he give a free kick to Chelsea? He shouldn't be allowed to ply his trade in any league, let alone the Premiership!

There should be some good songs and banners about Bosingwa this coming weekend, though

I agree with the linesman getting fired, but not on the police involvement. sure if it happened on the street its assult, but this isnt on the street. if a late tackles comes in, does it make it assult? when Chec got injured it wasnt assult even though it was late and a foul and he was very injured.

I think thats opening a whole bad place by getting police involved.
