Default Will I notice any difference?

My 4 1/2 year baby goes for it's 15,000 mile service today. Apart from feeling lighter in the wallet department, Do you think i will notice any difference?

It has been parked up for 6 months while I had a company car and soon will be doing at least 50 miles a day commute (maybe 70). The idle adjust cable needs replacing and I think the thottle cable is in need of a good lube.

I'll let you all know tomorrow!

I normally notice a difference, especially after higher mileage services. Occasionally, it's not good, like last time when they didn't tighten the bolt that holds the tank on!

I always notice a difference after a service, but I do often ask them to tweak one or two bits in the process anyway. Mine gets a big service tomorrow, so I'll let you know.

I think you will, don't they adjust/re-shim valves on the 15K?

I always notice my brakes being sharper

Maybe I wont be able to tell you.

They are keeping it in for observation. Something about getting the wrong starter cable into stock (despite the fact that I said 3 times that it was the Idle Adjuster Cable that was needed!)

Check valve clearances, don't necessarily adjust.

3500 mi oil service ---- I only notice differnce in shifting and controls
7500 carb sync /clean air filter/plugs ---I notice substantial difference in performance, starting and even milage
15000 mile valve clearance + 7500 service-- I notice about same difference at 7500 mile service
