Noraly's nightmare

If you haven't been following Noraly (Itchyboots on youtube) she has just crossed into Congo from C.A.R (via Cameroon). Her Honda CRF300 Rally had to cross the river in a canoe - something that she's done a few times before but this time they dropped the bike into the river!

It wasn't caught on camera since Noraly was in a different canoe and it was dark.

It ended well but she made the comment that water couldn't get into the engine because it wasn't running and when she inspected the airbox it was dry. Seems to me that she forgot that the bike had an exhaust and if the valves were open water ingress was possible.

Anyway they cleaned a few bits and pieces and got the bike running (in 3 or 4 hours). That bike has seen some abuse though.
