Morning orgers. Had three days of turmoil here while I had laminate flooring laid. It's a textured MDF in a really nice light oak finish. Looks so much better than the broken, paint stained Marley tiles! Now trying to put all my stuff back in place....

What's everyone else up to this weekend?

I got a bit worried this afternoon. Sitting in the garden with a nice cuppa after weeding the veg garden, I realised there were helicopters galore heading for Chequers, which is only five miles from my house. Literally one after the other every five minutes. I even went onto some news sites looking for some chaos in the world that may have required a big gathering of the great and good before I realised they were heading 30 miles further north to Silverstone... Panic over. Mental note to self - if I go out on the bike tomorrow avoid the whole north Bucks area!

Saturday was a wash out, but today has been amazing. One of those nights I just wanted to keep riding. The sun didn't want to set.

I gave Hugh his annual wash. I'm pretty sure some of the bugs I washed off his (appropriately named) fly screen were probably from the trip to Wales with Gary last August.
