Annoyed but happy

I decided to sell my SV which has being on sale on this site for over 2 months. It was a 2005 blue sv. I was looking for 1850 for her. I decided to put it on ebay with a buy it now price of 1800.


It sold in 'I **** you not' 2 minutes of me putting it on ebay. I actually got really ****ed off because I thought ebay fuxked up and deleted it. I should have put it on there for more but thats the luck of the draw.
I just spoke to the guy and he is picking it up on Sunday.

The bike is really mint. The only down side is the milage which was 29k (mostly motorway miles)

As you say in the title, just be happy that it sold given that it's winter.
As for being annoyed, why didn't you want to auction it?
Looking at completed auctions, there's not many with green prices, and of those, not many higher than yours - and you can't be certain that they completed (at least yours sounds likeit will complete noproblem) so chin up

Ah well, at least your shut of it and you've got (or will have) cash in your pocket. A few hundred squid aint the end of the world.

Tried flogging mine before getting the Gixxer but similar story, no joy.

Had a couple of offers but both were silly money and way below what i'd sell at. Ended up PX'ing and got what i was originally asking privately as the PX price. Which was nice.

That was one I was looking at, sadly I haven't been able to sell my bike to buy a new one.

Note to self: always sell bikes on ebay w/a reserve and let the auction run.

Well done on getting it sold, it's tough enough to sell anything these days!

and you never know, the chap who brought it might have been the only one on ebay thinking, 'I need a SV and I want to pay £1800 for it...bingo'. Could have been on there for days but you got lucky and ended it early.
