Delayed High Beam
Another gremlin in my electronics, maybe someone can explain.
My high beam didn't work for ages, so I took the front apart and found the dodgy connection (in the yellow box on the left of the bike leading from the handlebar switch). Now my high beam has a delay the first time I use it. E.g. Flick the switch, all lights go out, then 0.5 seconds later high beam comes on. Not a massive issue, except for when you want to use high beam, you normally are in quite a dark place, so half a second of dark isn't great. The strange thing is, when I've recently turned them on and experienced the delay, the next time I turn them on, there is no delay. It is like they need warming up, and then next time they are already warm (like energy saving bulbs for example). Not sure the length of time required to set them back to the delayed bit is. Can anyone explain this and hence help fix it? Thanks |

Re: Delayed High Beam
No. But seeing as the previous problem was due to the connector block I'd first look there again - just to be sure.
