Just priced all the damage up. £466 + VAT not including the left and right fairing panels. Not sure how much they are. I think I will need new fairing brackets as well. They look bent. Can't imagine they are more than a tenner each side. Guessing I won't get too much change out of £400 for two fairing panels. So nigh on a grand inc VAT I reckon. Oh well.

If its any consolation, at least youre not hurt - better this than being taken out on it imho. And at least she stopped and came in and didnt try to drive away. [someone I know is in hospital again having had another accident so Im writing this with that in mind atm ]
Gutted for you but bikes fix, especially when the other person has insurance. |

bad luck bro, sh** when this happens. go neanderthal on her (joking of course)
few yrs ago had a chap reverse into my bike (1200 bandit) whilst i was in a chippy and bike was parked in a layby with plenty of room in front. tit knocked it over and went through similar procedure. was really lucky though as he actually came into shop looking for me, didn't just razz off |

Jeez bummer Scoobs - I liked your bike from the bits I saw of it accelerating away from me sounds like all fixable though and at least not out of your wallet. am paranoid about similar happening to mine (luvverly shiny and new) and by sounds of everyones stories it;s only a matter of time before some eejit bumps you. or i could do what a mate has done and taken it off the paddock stand with the side stand up...

Bummer mate!
Same happened to me a few weeks back. You have my full sympathy. Hopefully it will work out a bit cheaper than you say, (but it meant I had to cancel my holiday!!) |
