do you display tax disc?
Personally i carry a photocopy under the seat, i dont see why i should fork out for a holder to either fall off or some toe-rag to steel.

Always, in a bolt together holder mounted into an awkward to get to location. If it takes me more than 5 minutes to put it in place then it's safe enough. If it gets nicked I wouldn't bother forking out for a replacement though - I'd just wait til renewal time.

Apparently a 200 quid fine for failure to display, but subjective to the traffic officer or plod as to whether enforced.
I just think its a **** system having to display it where it can get knocked off, wet or stolen. And it costs a fortune for a proper tamper / water proof holder. |

No it's a £60 fine. I got done for not displaying the cars tax disc. I reckon it was the pr*ck next door that grassed me up.
I didn't have it on the bike before because I got pi**ed off with the crappy holders rusting and generally looking crap. But in keeping with my new "reasonably legal" theme, I have put it back on. |

I have a colour photocopy in the holder (which gets wet) and the real one is on display under the pillion seat, along with my baffle.
