Default RIP Fella

Just been to visit my wife in Chorley hospital and the police are turning traffic around in front of the hospital.

Been told it is a fatal bike, poor sod is only 26 and it was his first time out after passing his test.

Makes me think about those first nervous miles. The way I learnt from my mistakes and the stuff I got away with as I picked up experience.

Sorry I never met you or even know your name. But 1 day or 50 years on a bike, when you get bitten by the bug you just have to do it.

RIP

I normally go home on that road, and wondered why it was closed and i had to detour.

God i feel terrible now knowing why

ITs only a 40mph road as well with a set of traffic lights and didnt see it as a dangerous road (although it was wet today)..Reminds to be extra carefull

News report here http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/england/l...re/6973752.stm

Although the report says on a bend, it is only just one and good for licence loosing speeds. We have to wait for the investigations, It was a slightly damp evening here last night but that road is in a good state of repair. I guess his inexperience must have played a big part.
