Nice video, did you find bite marks in your saddle after that last bit?

Have fun and ride safe.

Cheers geo, not bad for a total of 20 minutes footage. Lets hope for more good stuff.

Need to try out the gyrocam again soon!

The big twin has been fettled with a bit over the last few months.

I fitted a slimline headlight assembly and have adjusted the suspension to help control the weight of the bike better when grabbing the brakes and transitioning into the corners.

Still not a mega cornering machine but the giggles on the throttle make up for it!

Had the Gyrocam out for a test a while ago:

Yep will do, although I have currently sold all my Gyrocams* including that one so I'll have to wait for my next batch!

(*Including a sale to Marc VDS for use in an upcoming Moto 2 test! )

Really impressed with your gyrocam. Where did you mount it?

After tweaking the suspension a few times with no joy, I finally took all the front preload off and increased rebound damping front and back.

Combined with removing the steering damper I'm pleased to say I can finally throw the big bike at corners and know that it'll stick. Before it felt jerky, sometimes a strange lightness mid-corner and generally unstable for my liking.

Maybe because I learnt my riding on a 20 year old CBR which was very soft too.

Anyway, I took the SV1000 round Cadwell and removed the rear tyre chicken strips at last! Sadly though the front wheel is way out of balance which could be a bent disc, I'm still investigating!

Here's some pics from the Trackday, sadly the photographer missed my best corners!

(The exhausts are back to standard to get thru noise tests for Cadwell and for the upcoming Hillclimb at Oliver's mount. The rearsets are back to standard so I can fit my legs on it!)
