Default Bad wind & blowing off

I've got this problem with wind. The cover on my bike keeps blowing off and I'm getting tired of finding the bike uncovered every morning. It's only a cheap Lidl cover and it getting a bit tatty. So I'm looking to replace it with something a bit better. Any recommendations for covers that won't
blow away during the night? The Oxford Stormex looks good, but's a bit pricy at £60 (from Infinity). Is it worth the dosh?

Before I got my Bike Safe I used a cover at home. It didn't have any form of fastening on it.

I ran gaffa tape along the bottom of it, then punched holes in it (gaffa was to try and stop it ripping - which it did). I then used bungee straps throung the holes, round pegs etc to secure it. I never lost it after that

If at first you don't succeed - use more gaffa tape.

If the wind is enough to blow the cover off it is enough to blow the bike over. I would be leaving the cover off in extremely windy conditions, might be wet but still in one piece.

Clothes line, the cheapy plastic stuff - works a treat to tie it with. ive got the cheap lidl cover and theres nowt wrong with it, my cousing bought a so called expensive one (oxford, silver colored) one winter later and he takes it off only to find it had cracked and rain got into the top of the bike and the chains all rusted!

Oxford stormex, bit pricy, but a click strap goes under the bike and a lot of sown eyelets to put a chain threw.

Cheers Mark.
