I watched The World's End last night. Was a little slow getting started but very good. A typical Simon Pegg film.

What did you make of the end credits scene?

Watched Deadpool last week - completely insane film, and the humour pushed my buttons too!

Do you mean when he is reunited with the old (young) gang. 5 pints of water - that takes some b!!lcks that does

Ex Machina which I thought was really good.
Mad Max (new one) which I thought was pretty disappointing. It was fairly entertaining but I don't get the hype.

Love Die Hard, 1, 2 & 3

I watched Nichols Cage Dying of the light the other morning on Sky movies

Pretty crap script and story, but strangely watchable.

Kajaki The True Story

On Netflix. A British film, it's based on a true story of a group of British soldiers, mainly 3 Para, stuck in an old Russian minefield in Afghanistan.

A really powerful film. Not "sexed up" like the typical Hollywood thing and not an easy watch as a result.

Very, very slow start which eventually helps underline how quickly things can go from drudgery to total SNAFU.

With stuff like The Night Manager, Line Of Duty, Scott & Bailey and The Five on TV lately one hardly needs to go to the movies. Line of Duty last night was just superb and it's great to see some strong female characters.
