+1 i didnt have my bike when i was a postie but it was just as good driving, especially cool summer mornings with dry roads.

In summer, 6:30 meet Sunday morning for a 4 hour spirited ride, doesn't start getting busy until 9ish, lovely. One good reason for having a legal exhaust though, sound can be heard for miles with a loud can

I'm on earlies this for the next four days. If the weather is goo, I take the scenic route to work via my fave lanes in Cheshire. Sometimes it takes over an hour instead of 25 minutes! Sets me up just nice it does!

We normally go out starting at 7:00am - its usually plenty early enough to have the roads mostly to yourself - one thing to be careful of is the wildlife - birds/rabbits etc seem to be in the way more early in the mornings - or perhaps thats just dozy Naaarfuk! lol

we alway used to meet up about 5am on sundays then have a good ride out somewere, not much on the road just tracktors until will meet up with a roadside spead check van and about 20 coppers on a country lane at 6am (w/!*$rs) luckerly we had just come out of some thick fog so were going slow, still did my mates for plates.

I like nightshift. After about 3.30am, the taxis have all gone to bed and the roads are empty. It can get pretty cold at this time of night though!

Makes me feel good about it

I've made my mind up and ive set the alarm for 4.15. I hope to be out as soon as im dressed, and go straight to work for half past 6. Ill wrap up warm, wear my high visibility vest and hopefully not get lost (then ill be late for work!).
Off to bed now for a good 6 hours sleep hopefully.
