Its about 5l
Its what came out of the tank before I cleaned and sealed it. I've put about 5l into the bike and its bad to say the least.

Council tip I come as my old man's car is a crude oil burner

Very mature.... I'd probably do something dangerously stupid with it, most likely involving fire & an air rifle...

I got rid of some fuel for a remote control car once. They deal with hazardous substances all the time. The tip is the place to go.

Use it in your bike - but only a bit at a time, say a litre or two in a full tank of new stuff.

All else is waste.

In environmental terms letting it evaporate is worse that burning it.

If an SV650 has a flat tyre in the forest and no-one is there to blow it up, how long will it be 'til someone posts that the reg/rec is duff and the world will end unless a CBR unit is fitted? A little bit of knowledge = a dangerous thing.

I don't think anyone was suggesting you use it 'straight' - letting it settle for a while even if you don't actually filter it would be a good move, no?

Even filtering through a pair of your old tights it its still more prone to gumming on the tip if an injector.
