Re: Ar 2015
There was plenty of hard standing at AR11, there was also the choice of a field with electric hook up or not.
There was also the offer of Jon Gomm playing for the pass of a hat(he's nice fella) but he's now famous(his gigs are sell out, but I've had the honour of seeing him live) . Instead you got Basil Fawlty at the reception desk

Re: Ar 2015
Anwhere that isn't hundreds of miles from me and isn't on a weekend I am working.
I would suggest the Cotswolds, the roads are nice but always really busy in the summer at weekends. Wales is always good

Re: Ar 2015
Ok a list of previous locations for AR's (For those who dont know or havent been aorund that long...
Wales (North and South) South west (Somerset/Dorset) Cotswolds (Twice) Yorkshire area (3 times) inc Cat N Fiddle Northumberland Essex Surrey/Kent/Sussex Midlands/N.Wales I think that covers the past 14 years or so. I am sure i have missed a couple. Personally i love South/Mid Wales and the Southwest. The early AR's were just basically rideouts and people sorted their own accommodation and met at an agreed meeting point. The later ones have involved a lot of planning and more recently gone a bit easy on the whole thing. So people, make your choices, get involved make some plans and submit your ideas. An AR15 area will be created over the next few days and this thread will be moved into there. For all the organisers and attendees. Remember, its a thankless task as you will not please everyone, but enjoyable at the end of if when you get a load of strangers turn up because you organise it. |

Re: Ar 2015
And Soulkiss will suggest we all ride round the M25. Like sprouts at Christmas, a terrible idea, but a tradition and therefore has to be done.

Well the seeds are being sown for a possible boarders bid for next year or something else

Re: Ar 2015
Just got back from Anglesey. Epic track, but too narrow for BSB IMO. Welsh Wales rains a lot though doesn't it. Rained every day of 4 that I was there.
