Default GM - Getting There

Hey Guys & Girls,

Not too long until the GM.

Though this might be useful for sharing plans for getting there. When you thinking of arriving? Leaving from? Route?

It might give some guys the chance of meeting up on the way.

I'm leaving work (East Kilbride) at noon, Pick Mrs up from work (if she gets the time off), coffee and cake at Tyndrum, arrive at Kinlochleven between 3 and 4, pop to shop for supplies, then have some beers in the SUNSHINE and moon at people arriving .

Cheers

Fred

Hope to be riding up as early as possible on Friday using this route http://goo.gl/maps/skJic . At Easter we went via CCs route https://maps.google.co.uk/maps?saddr...mra=pr&t=m&z=9 and enjoyed it. Would have planned to go via the Forth Road Bridge - Knockhill - Crief but my better half doesn't do heights.

Didn't stop me from riding the AR. My rear was totally annihilated when I got home.

I hear nice shiny tyres are the fashion. So shiny they almost look like metal...

Anyways, I am off that day so will be leaving Glasgow at some point when I get round to it. Meet up with ya and cruise on up if you like Alan?

I'm planning on a brisk bimble up from home via The Dukes Pass. Time I leave depends on who's with me and how much we start the weekend the night before... I'm kinda hoping that its early and dry so I can go play on the north side of The Kinlochleven Loop for a while before the madding hoards start turning up...

I'll probably post a route up the night before.

Happy days. Well my bike is leaking a very small amount of oil which I need to fix and my indicators are mostly held on with tape. So everything will be just fine...
