Default Ride to Llandrindod tomorrow

Got a meeting in Llandrindod in the morning, so as the weather is looking reasonable, I'm going to go on the bike. I'm hoping the roads won't be too slimy!

Spent the afternoon cleaning and reproofing all my kit ready. It needed doing as it's not been done since at least early this year, possibly late last year.

It'll be interesting to see how many other bikes are out and about.

Early start I think, leave enough time for a leisurely ride down.

Thanks John. No rain in the offing but it could be a chilly ride! Think I might invest in the heated vest that Craig was recommending for the rest of the winter.

Ride to Llandrindod was good, and not too chilly. The roads were a bit greasy in places, so I just took it steady.

As usual there were a few car drivers behaving like bell-ends.

Saw a total of three other motorcyclists, all within a couple of miles of each other.

I usually find if the ambient temp is around 10C and there's a breeze, the roads dry off fairly quickly, but below that temp they can stay damp / greasy for ages.

Not to mention the chill when it gets below double figures! Brrr.
