I might be sticking around, so hello everybody
Hi. My name is mark, I'm 19 and I work in fast food (for now, long story) and I live in east shropshire.
I am currently riding a CBR 125, which is doing my head in as I've done 10k on it and I feel I'm ready to move up. I shall hopefully be doing my ful bike test in the next few months (before december is the plan). I have also done some unofficial advanced training with my uncle whos a police biker for devon and cornwall, so hopefully I'll be ok on the test. I've had one accident which was totally my fault, locked up both wheels on loose gravel at 40mph and came off, did a fair bit of damage to the bike, so my premiums are loaded, which is where the SV 650 S comes in. I have always liked the look of the gixxers, but with TPO at £1,500 for a 600 I can kiss good bye to that, i was told about the SV on another forum and have been in love ever since. Cheap to buy, cheap insurance (£372 TPO, +£2000 FC ) and decent milage from what I've read, and quite a sporty look. Hope to stay on here for a long time mark |

Re: I might be sticking around, so hello everybody
No, I've only ridden 1 other bike, it was a yamaha sr 125 on my cbt, which at the time i loved but my i've ridden a cbr i just want to get bigger and faster, but only safely, as soon as I can afford to I want to get the official police riders license at level 1 (the most advanced available to civvies). I'm currently at TCAT (telford college) studying public services, so hopefully I cab become a police officer, and then ultimatly a police biker

Try them for insurance. they are good Oh and welcome to the forums, the SV is a perfect first big bike. Id imagine it also makes a better restricted bike too. |
