Fitting Motrax bar ed Mirrors....Help please - SV650.org

Hi, I'm new tt bike so know very little about sticking bits on them etc.

I really don't like the look of the standard mirros and thought I'd try some Motrax Bar end ones.

Anyway, am I missing something to get them to fit? please see the pics below.
I do have spacers etc, but they obviuosly are useless.

As you can see, they won't fit on the bar ends, that would look rubbish anyway. When I take the bar end weight off thee is nothing there, do I need to move the grips?!?

Any help/links to what I need will be excellent.

Looks like you can gently prise them apart by putting a screwdiver in the gap to expand the clamp a bit.

A slight twist should help.

If not get a slightly longer allen bolt to give a bit more clearance in the clamp
, as that original is at its limit

Unfortunately we don't really support Motrax products on here as they are robbing barstewards

I don't think I'll be able to expand it over the existing bar end, even if I could that may look a bit rubbish.

You really need a bar end mirror that has an internal bar end fixing like these Oberons
