Video of My Ride Today with my new Ram Mount
Here is a compilation of my ride earlier trying out my new ram mount with a camera recording. Qualitys not bad for what it is, might try it out with some other cameras. The quality should get better once You Tube have fully processed it as it is definetly better on the unedited videos.

Just be careful with beginnings and ends where your street is potentially identifiable. Has been known to get naughty riders into trouble.
Edit: You're definitely going to go to prison. You overtook on the hatchings somewhere around 4:40 ish. Last edited by Dan; 04-03-09 at 10:42 PM. |

Was the footage better quality before you put it on youtube? Looks a bit camera phone on there.

Re: Video of My Ride Today with my new Ram Mount
Good video, a little poor quality, but YouTube is like that.
As mentioned above though, please be sensible with your editing of the video. The housing estate at the start looks like it's where you live. Video's on YouTube are often difficult to judge speed, but again, as said above, overtaking on hashed lines is a bit of a no-no in the eyes of the law. This is complicated by the fact there's a sign on the left warning of side roads, and a "reduce speed now" sign, and a speed camera warning. The hashed area doesn't have a solid border, so it's a little less naughty, but still. Also the overtakes help gauge how fast you were going. NB, that doesn't mean I wouldn't of done the same in your position, I probably would. Other than that, another reason not to show video anywhere near your house is in case local scrotes find it on YouTube & decide they want a new bike. |
