Nice cameras though, I need to sort out the rangefinder on the one I rebuilt. Unless you want to give that one a go Yoko?

I'll give rangefinder adjusting a miss for the moment thanks. I never seem to get round to fixing things up these days. It would probably end up left on a dark shelf somewhere. I've a few lenses that need a clean out too.
On a different note, my new China visa came through a few days ago.

Oh yeah, nearly time for the annual trip. When do you go? Plenty of time to decide what cameras to take.

Mid-September. Don't know what to do with cameras this year as I used the digital much more last time out and felt like I really had to make an effort to go out with film. I think it's one only; either a rangefinder or an SLR with one 'do it all' lens.

You could always take your Ricoh. Just had a count up and I have at least fifteen cameras on or around my desk. Not including the big tub I got in a job lot.

I took the Ricoh last year and it's still got half a film left in it. If I take an RF, it'll be a different one.

I'm really not sure. There are cameras all over the place and I need to organise them. RFs of the top of my head, Yashica Lynxs, Electro 35s and a Minister, A couple of Ricohs and Olympuses, the Vivitar SE, Himatic 9... probably a few more too.

Didn't have the strength to resist this black mechanical beauty either, especially as it had a Rokkor which I don't possess on the end.

It makes a nice little family.

Maybe an Olympus? The Electros are nice but so big and bulky, at least with an XA you can slip it in your pocket. If you don't mind zone focus then the XA2 is pretty decent. That's a nice bit of kit, going for the full set? I still cannot find my Rolleicord, starting to worry now!
