TL1000S
ive wanted one of these for a long long time (looks like a curvy with attitude mmmnnn) , now i know of the rear shock issue the bikes are known for, but the rotary damper can be replaced for a standard one with ease, so that's not much of a problem.
Has anybody else ridden / got one? am i insane? Marshall |

would be worth doing a search on 'TL1000' as I know this has come up several times before
not the bit about whether you're insane tho - that's open to discussion... |

Ive ridden one Marshall but i might add SLOWLY my work mate has one and he said he wouldn't swap it for any modern stuff attitude is the word, Ive try'd to ride my sv1000 hard but it just trys to spit me off and the TLR's power is more fierce, the sv1000 is ment to be a more forgiving bike to ride.

Oh god, a TL-S is part of my dream garage (next to a ducati 955, an MV augusta, an RC30, an NR750 and a 2006 Yamaha R1)

its awsome. im a member of both tl planet and tlzone. the guys there are great help and fun to chat to. the rear shock is not all that bad....but if you intend on cranking it over....change it! im in the process of doing my own mod for this on the cheap! well making most of it myself and fitting some other shock. will see how it goes in time. anyway....GET ONE! and make sure its a tls! tlrs are tammed down for the girls! lol |

Oh yes, no fun without the worries of the rotary damper, tank-slappers and cracking frames And if TLRs are tamed down then the SV must really be a girls bike...... |
