I have a Maxton cartridge fork conversion on my 2001 SV650 with preload adjusters and damping adjustment. They are superb on the standard settings, but this is the advantage of going to Maxton, they are tailored to your weight and even your riding style/prefered type of roads if you ask. Worth every penny - have had mine a year now.

How much was the fork conversion for the SV650 if you don,t mind me asking?
Did Maxton do this or did you do t yourself? |

Not cheap at £420, but the transformation was worth it to me, especially as I intend to keep my SV long enough to justify the cost. I was so impressed I saved up and got a Maxton rear shock too (even more expensive), but it was the fork upgrade that made the biggest difference by far. There are a few different options they can provide; have a look here http://www.esling.btinternet.co.uk/maxton/. Richard Adams at maxton is very helpful with any questions and answered numerous emails.

Is there any actual information on what they do on there? Couldn't see it...

For the thou, I presume? I was more wondering about the 650... (not that I'm in the market, mind, if I get the GSXR bits worked over it'll be Ktech.)

Maxton tend to re-invent the wheel a bit when they re-valve stuff (hence the price), but it does work
