Re: The weight loss Thread
I down from 12st 3 to 11st 10. Aiming for 11st 5-ish. I'm only a little short **** but I'm starting to get love handles and a belly. Went for a run last night and have been going to the gym doing 20km bike sessions. Slowly working but its so hard to not just feast on crap all day. Yesterday I had two grab bag sized packets of wotsits, a pepperami, two large sausage rolls and half a pack of biscuits. I am terrible with food.

Re: The weight loss Thread
Really not doing great in terms of weight loss
27/12/2010 - 83.6kg 03/01/2011 - 82.5kg 10/01/2011 - 82.1kg 17/01/2011 - 82.1kg 24/01/2011 - 82.8kg 31/01/2011 - 82.8kg 07/02/2011 - 82.1kg 14/02/2011 - 83.3kg 21/02/2011 - 82.6kg I havn't exactly been eating well over the past few weeks unfortunately, I'm going to start taking it a bit more seriously though, and although I have been putting on weight I look slightly better and some of it must be muscle. I ran 38km last week and can now run 10k in 57 minutes which isnt great in running terms but just after christmas I was only doing 8k in 60 minutes. For now I am going to keep concentrating on fitness so I can enter some competitions, and keep aiming for a 45 minute 10k. I'll try and eat better too

Re: The weight loss Thread
Kinda quit in here.
Hows everyone doing? Me: Start weight : (01/01/11) 15 st. 12 lbs. Current weight: (24/03/11) 13 st. 10 lbs. Target weight: 12 st. 7 lbs. Well pleased at losing just over 2 stones in 3 months. Hopefully will reach my goal by the end of May. Although my riding pants are now a bit large for me. Will wait till I've reached my goal to buy some new gear.

Re: The weight loss Thread
dont know if it has been mentioned but the problem with doing a lot more exercise while dieting is that muscle is heavier than fat so although you are looking slimmer you aren't actually loosing weight which in turn causes frustration. so dont get to hung up about weight figures as you are gaining muscle content.

Re: The weight loss Thread
I have actually been putting on weight even though I have been going to the gym 4 times a week, playing squash once or twice a week and walking to work every day.
I have been between 11st 10 and 12 st since the start of Feb so haven't really worried about the weight. It's in the healthy level and I know I am burning fat so it's all good.

Re: The weight loss Thread
27/12/2010 - 83.6kg
03/01/2011 - 82.5kg 10/01/2011 - 82.1kg 17/01/2011 - 82.1kg 24/01/2011 - 82.8kg 31/01/2011 - 82.8kg 07/02/2011 - 82.1kg 14/02/2011 - 83.3kg 21/02/2011 - 82.6kg Latest for me is 28/02/2011 - 82.6kg 07/03/2011 - 82.9kg 14/03/2011 - 83.2kg 21/03/2011 - 83.7kg I got quite depressed at this point, fortunately I found a new hotel when I'm away from home that has a good gym, I decided to cut out the 1ltr european glasses of coke, and eat less for a week and... 28/03/2011 - 81.9kg There no doubt some of the weight is muscle, I feel better and I'm running 10k in 55 minutes at least once a week sometimes twice. I struggled to zip my leather over my calf muscles the other day which has never happened before, the rest were loose though and they were very tight when I got them.
