Go for it. But what's the point of off-road tyres and clipons?

Re: Help me with Curvy scrambler-racer Project
So go with handlebars, I find clipons horrible in town. And I wouldn't even try them on anything off road unless you are this guy:
Urban riding you want some sport touring tyres. I've ridden bikes with semi-knobblies around town before and they were no advantage. Best would probably be some race wets or something.

Avon Pro-Extreme? Road legal full wets.
Most importantly available in SV size rear too. Druid

Re: Help me with Curvy scrambler-racer Project
So are you doing this as a styling exercise, or because you want to build a fun bike to rag through the city?

I would be looking at turning it into a motard/adv bike hybrid type thing then http://www.supermotojunkie.com/showt...138#post713138
