Default Anyone believe in Karma?

I am a huge believer in the expression "what goes around, comes around" and a couple of weeks ago I had another experience that reinforced this. I was in my car and was seriously cut up by a mpv leaving the A40 at Hanger Lane, so much so that I had to brake hard enough for the ABS to work in order to prevent him colliding with my front wing. I threw lots and lots of F's at him and managed to get alongside in the traffic to add further comment. He acted as if he were wearing blinkers and completely ignored me. Further along the North Circular Road, he drove like a complete pr*ck, cutting up several other drivers and undertaking in an apparent attempt to get away from me. Further up the road he was in the outside lane stuck behind cars turning right at traffic lights, As I passed on his nearside (the lane I was in was moving faster) he pulled out from behind the car next to me, undertook it and pulled back out to the outside lane alongside me. He overtook me and as he was passing a Mercedes in front of me, it's driver decided to change lanes without looking or signalling, ramming his door mirror into the side of the MPV. As everything slowed down and both headed for the side of the road, I drifted past waving and laughing my ass off. Pure Karma! Anyone else a believer?

In the sense I don't f people over than don't deserve it.

Like, I would and have given iphones ect back to people when I have seen them drop them, or leave them on things at work, 8 years ago id have had it switched off in my pocket faster than you can say the word siri.

Still, It could be all a load of rubbish, maybe life would be the same either way, but I feel good doing the right thing, money is just an unfortunate necessity.

If you truely believe in karma, was this a good idea?
Carefull it may come back to bite you!

Glad he got what he deserved, there is a certain pleasure that comes from seeing some ***** getting his due.

Karma only seems to work for bad.
If you do something bad to someone else, bad things happen to you.
However if you do good things for others, you seem no less likely for good things to come your way.
Or is that because I'm surrounded by americans?

I do genuinly believe in Karma, I don`t monitor the good for good etc but I do just treat others the way I want to be treated etc.

Doesn`t always work, there are knobs everywhere and it sounds like you almost bumped into one!!

Good work on the wave and ride off, bet they were fuming

Buddhsim itself is the only religion I could ever lean towards, except the rincarnation bit.

No I don't believe in Karma. It's as laughable as pixies and pink unicorns. What you're observing is simply the sideaffects of our behaviourial patterns. Bad things happen to bad people because they bring bad situations upon themselves by provoking people and entering bad environments etc. Also it's statistical certainty these things will happen. People like to link conincidences and assign special meaning to them, but they completely ignore the 99% of events when a noticeable related event does not happen. Basically reality is not writing cheques but your illogical brain is still trying to cash them.

Lovely analogy as always fallout.

I don't so much believe in "what goes around comes around." I do how however still have my mothers words ringing in my ears saying "do unto others as you would have them do unto you"
