Just thought Id introduce myself as Im new on here. My name is David and I come from Fife in Scotland.
I have my heart totally set on one of these bikes and I am actually going to see one on Sunday. It seems like a good enough bike from what I know about them. The only problem is that the seller has recently split one of the fairings (he is going to send me pics of the split) The bike is a fully faired 07 in Blue with 8k on the clock. It has a years mot and 6 months tax and fully documented service history. He wants £2500 but I could probably get that down considerably due to the split. Without seeing it, are these splits repairable? If not how much for a new fairing. I dont know exactly where the split is yet but suspect its the biggish part where your knees would be (If that helps ) Dave (not past his test yet but working on it) |

Howdoo mate, yeah they are repairable, either diy or professional, or you can get replacements either oem, ie suzuki or after market fairings, not sure on price, 2-3 hundred, or secondhand, mebe on here or ebay, For example http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/SUZUKI-SV650-L...item1c19e7450d sorry you wanted blue, costs more as is the best colour http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/SUZUKI-SV650S-...item564328c1c7 If you do get the bike and do buy a set of fairings make sure the 3 letter colour code is the same, hth, andy.
