Horses for courses - some people do feel more confident on the road, and fair play to them. Trackdays on your nice bike aren't really a good idea, especially if it's your only transport. You should try hiring a bike next time, or blag a session on a friends trackbike.

That's ok. I'm no riding god myself, but I know the theory even if I don't always manage to put it into practise myself. What I do know is that if it's attached to the bike, you don't want it touching tarmac - hang off more, keep the bike a little more upright.

Question for wyntrblue: Did you set the tyre pressures to "track" before you went on the track itself?

I was there on Friday here's the hairpin

yup, got the guys there to check my tires and the pressures were adjusted. on the upside my american friend had a great time on his honda cbr954cc

I went (red k5) and so did my mate (GSR600)

Had a great time!! Saw your bike LyleJ right outside the briefing room.

Are the photos from the day available online??

yeah they should be mate, that was mine we got there far to early and had to wait for two hours lol, did you have a good day?

We both really enjoyed ourselves!

I would have liked to do a few more sessions but at the end of the second session my front brake lever was pulling back all the way to the grip! I didn't want to risk ruining my brakes as I still had to ride the 40 odd miles home!!

My brakes seem ok now though!!

low break pads lol, yesterday wouldnt of helped them lol, but the day was mint got on track at about 10.00 and only had my one session and that was it, i was pretty tired lol, should of had brekkie
