Re: rec
Here I think.
http://www.electrexworld.co.uk/ RR85. About 60 quid However thedonal bought one quite recently and had a load of fitting problems. What year is your curvy BBB? I got my mine from a local bike parts shop. Don't know yet if it's any good though.

Re: rec
I am baffled by all this, i think there must have been a faulty Suzuki batch at some point as all my Curvy's have never had a problem and they all have the original one fitted.
Any way, as Lissa said above.... |

Re: rec
I got mine from here. http://www.busters-accessories.co.uk/ The only differance to the original one is it is slightly thinker so you need longer bolts to fit it but thats it.

Re: rec
Or you can always stick a Gixxer one on. My last curvy one went pop & someone on here said the GSXR one is a heavier duty one. You have to do a little bit of wire cutting to put the SV plug on, but I didn't have any trouble after that

Re: Regulator-rectifier
I second the *onda option. OK you need to do some cutting and splicing. But £20 for a breaker CBR1000RR type etc. or £60 for a pattern. I will at least try the cheaper option first.
DD, you must have got away lucky. Most people seem to have experienced RR failure at some point in their curvy ownership. However, many run off for a new battery and then discover it was the RR after all

Yes the Honda option is a good way to go, I have fitted many RR to other peoples bikes (all kinds) from the link Lissa provided above also! |
