You are so right Jonboy, succinctly said - only 70mph is safe - if 71 was safe the law would be changed. The law is based on every aspect of driver/rider/vehicle/road and other fixed and variable conditions input and tailor made for every user. The answer, contrary to the Hitch Hiker's Guide, for everyone is 70, unless its single lane, then that's 60. And other variable limits down to 20. But 70 is the right speed. Anyone that thinks 71 is safe is absolute nuts and will die and upset their fellow road users in the process - end of.
