Default Helmet recommendations

I currently have a Nitro N800V-X which seems ok, but its noisy and likes trying to rip my head off at anything over 70mph. I mainly bought it for use in my kit car, and its a good 5 years old now.

So what helmets would people recommend? I know nothing beats going and trying them for fit, but I would like to narrow it down to a few if possible!

I quite like the look of the AGV Stealth SV helmets. Anyone know what they are like with regards wind noise/aerodynamics?

Schuberth is very quiet, but expensive.

I like Shoei XR1100. After that I don't know coz I haven't tried anything else.

Go and try on as many as you can. Buy the one that fit's you best.

And try using earplugs.

Tried a few different helmets but there wasn't much differnce in wind noise between any of them. Get the helmet that (1) fits right and (2) you like the look of and just wear earplugs with it

All about the fit.

Also finding it weird that you have Masumi Max as an avatar!

Yep,
tried Schberth, but really uncomfortable, tried an Arai snugg as a bug. If you go to one of the shows, say NEC, you'll pick up a new helmet for a lot less than at a stealer

I just bought a Shoei Qwest. It is very very quiet and fits me really well. If it fits you I'd highly recommend it.
