Default Scenic route

Some pics of the lovely scenic road from Lake Vyrnwy to Bala over the tops. You actually are above the RAF planes as they swoop into the valley before you drop down. Quite a narrow road, so not fast, but very quiet and scenic, plenty of photo ops.

View from the Horseshoe overlooking the Vale of Llangollen. You can see the first bend at the bottom which forms the first part of the "horseshoe" shape, to where i am standing taking the pic, on the top road to complete the horseshoe shape, hence the horseshoe pass.

FYI Lissa, that's the bit me and Jon could just hear you on and make out your Santa Suits on boxing day (I think it was)

For the rest of you, me and my lad (Jon) were walking our dogs after meeting 'The Noisy Twins' and James Sunhill at Ponderosa, we heard Pete fire up the SV from a couple of miles away and listened to them going down the horseshoe We could tell where they were from the gear changes..... Then we could just about spot their red santa suits on that section of road.....
