Default Trailering Bike With No Rear Pegs?

Hi,

Well when i last took my R6 to a track day it had the rear pegs attached now i have fitted race fairings it doesn't have any so what would be the best way to tie the bike to the trailer?

Over the rear swingarm?

Any help is much appreciated as i don't want the bike flying off the back of the trailer at 70 mph haha

Cheers

Mason

Bars and rear wheel,plus one over the seat for belt and braces[We always put a cable tie round the front brakes}

So you reckon it will be fine to just put a strap across the seat unit and then one tied over the rear wheel to stop it bouncing?

The last trailer recovery I had (the last 2 actually), they've used the the tyre strap adapters, over the handlebars with the ratchet, with a strap through the front wheel and one over the seat IIRC

Have never used it on a trailer but have moved a few inside a van with one of these wheel chocks bolted to the floor.

I dont have a solid floor on my trailer to bolt to, it is a mesh design which is a bit of a pain!

couldn't find a pic of how we usually do it, so i'll try to explain in about a thousand words:

basically you take a heavy duty ratchet strap (10 cm wide or so), tie it to the trailer, then, holding the bike slightly tilted to the side, wrap it around the top of the back wheel once or twice, so that that as you ratchet it tight, the bike would become upright. with bike in gear this is very stable and doesn't compress the suspension. then tie down the front with two straps at the bottom triple.

So if i was to use these 3 points on the bike that would be fine?

Accross the back seat unit, around the triple clamp at the front, around and over the rear wheel?

I use one of these and a pair of ratchet straps:

Do strap it at the front with something like this as it stops the pivot movement around the headstock
