Default Rear Indicators (wiring)?

More help please, hopefully just a quicky!

I've replace my rear indicators and had to swap the connectors (under pillion seat) however I'm slightly confused as to why my battery is now draining :/

To the left indicator I have black & black/White wire; to the right I have a light blue & black/White wire.. Seemed a little odd

All in working order but after p**sing about with the ignition on for half hour my battery is practically dead!?

Normal?

Cheers folks...

You have answered your own question, with the ignition on you will be draining the battery. Recharge it and all should be well.

Could be a sign that the battery is on its way out.

Don't forget the little riding light is on all the time, whilst the ignition is on and my old battery used to drain very quickly, just before it gave up the ghost

Ok thanks guys. Possibly time for a new one then just to be on the safe side. Any recommendations on a decent battery out there?
