maviczap, I really wasn't having a direct pop at you. The point is you didn't catch the wrong type of flu because you are still alive to feel like death?
Would you rather catch a one week flu or a no more weeks flu?

Don't take mine or other reponses too seriously, i got the jist of what you meant.

I'm rarely ill, in fact i cant remember the last day i had off sick from work, but when i get ill, it wipes me out, even if it is only a heavy cold. But i usually get a chest infection following something like this. Usually around Christmas. Hence my doc saying have an annual flu jab.

The previous 3 winters ive not been ill, since having the jab, so it was working. Hence my gripe

Yeah, I drank that much once.

Now to add to my misery, I've pulled a shoulder/neck muscle. At least i had a better nights sleep, but no where near enough
