Motorcycle cover
https://www.rideapart.com/news/46654...-garage-cover/
https://www.louis-moto.co.uk/artikel...ction/10011346 ...they say they pay any customs charges... Anyone bought anything from the EU since the trade deal came into force?

Re: Motorcycle cover
yes - i have straight from Dainese in Italy. They detail if they're any custom charges, they'll cover it.
IIRC the new tariff kicks in at £390 so you shouldn't get any charges below this value. Surely that bag is going to lock in moisture and increase the corrosion? Last edited by DJ123; 16-01-21 at 11:22 AM. |

I've seen similar zip bags that have a vacuum attachment but it seemed like a faff, so I bought a dehumidifier for the garage instead. I'm not intending buying anything from the EU, I was just curious.

Re: Motorcycle cover
i think if you had one of those passive de-humidifiers in there it might work, but certainly not on its own.
I only had delays from Dainese, but they did advertise when ordering between Christmas and the 6th January. Latest update is they're shipping as normal now (once they've caught up with the backlog). Last edited by DJ123; 16-01-21 at 02:00 PM. |

The last time I bought any Dainese I used the Wolverhampton store but that was early last year before the madness.

Re: Motorcycle cover
i meant inside the bag, as opposed the Garage for the passive de-humidifier.
Previously i've ordered from the Manchester store for my AirBag vest, but the direct site had some decent sales on - so i went for a few items. With the lockdown & the current weather i'm not missing out on any riding. |
