The old one but just modified with a gap in the top to separate the G and R letters.

I preferred the slant GR on option 1. Get the point about the phantom 'T' . Why not just go with option 1 but put a break between the G&R on the top line?
Although then maybe people will see a Jesus cross and think you sell slip-on sandals
