If I get a new(er) bike it'll be the very end of this year anyway, as at £123 a month my car insurance is a little on the steep side

Why is it you men are never satisfied? I love my bike and expect to ride it til it dies. Jeff also reckons he loves his bike, says it does everything he needs it to do and is a huge amount of fun but is constantly on about getting something bigger and faster.

I dont get it, is it just your testosterone constantly persuading you that you need more power than the next guy, is it just to keep up with the Jones's or what? Someone explain it to me please.....

I've had my bike for over two years, I've modified it and crashed it and done quite a few miles on it, and I quite like the engine. But, I want something a bit bigger and more comfortable, and something that I don't rev out looking for more power all the time.

I've modified the SV quite a lot to get it closer to what I want from a bike, and it still isn't there, so I'm looking for something that does what I want out of the box- or is at least a lot closer to it than the SV.

Now I do like my bike...loads but as I work bloody hard for a living, I deserve to get whatever toys I like.

I had a call today telling me that a local organisation (can't say who) may be making a sizeable payment to me to keep a certain event out of court...

Enough to make sure that my mortgage would be gone at least

That was after a couple of weeks calling/nagging/whinging and was the lowest I could get.
So if that goes down by a bit, a newer bike will be on the cards, but thats a fair way off yet.
