Default roadside cafe greasy spoon

passed a butty van today in layby-


mushroom- bacon and chhese on toast with red sauce.. £2 ,- with a brew-


MAn it wa ssooo greasy and bad for me and if Mrs Quiff was with me I wouldnt have been allowed it.

but OH BOY it was soooo nice.!!!!!..........


why are these truckstop diners so yummy !.....

Mmmmmm, there's a greasy spoon our way called the Super Sausage 2 (it's got a chevvy on the roof) and it's heaven for good ol' proper food.

Many is the Sunday morning (OK, 1pm) breakfast run made out to some chain pub with bland, same-across-the-country food. But just occasionally I'll win the argument and get them down the SS for a bit of healthy grease.

I married a clay head!!.. I am not a true Stokie.. so oatcakes are not my staple diet-

I do like them but.!! they leave a funny lining on yer mouth and you cantaste them for ages after- and as I was seeing a client later on I didnt want that "stoke aroma" !!!
