Just got back from Florida and did some warm water diving, so much better than cold water but TBH I enjoy both, got a tourch and some other bits for my collection, we should meet up for an inland UK dive.

Dotty on 16th december is a possibility, that's proper cold though. Probably 5 deg or so. I quite fancy hodge close at some point too.

I've got a new torch on't way my mate is just making me the bits for it on his reet fancy CNC.

that's the head of it, it's an umbilical one, should get a strong 6 hours with the best part of 1000 lumens.

This is part of the kit to lug around... not much and it will fit on a bike but whenever I take the van it seems to end up full. Like with kayaks, and SVs, and 20 cylinders, and hundreds of liters of fuel...

Got lucky with kit, £80 for an otter ultimate drysuit, £300 for some twin 12s

Of course we are all proper classy on dive trips... here is Si and his crew for the last trip in their luxury accomodation tucking into their fine continental breakfast...

It looks like a rebreather handset, with a couple of holes on the right hand end for switches.

What sort of connection are you going to use between the handsets and the electronics? A straight cable, or are you going to sheath it in something?

2 holes in right side for cables one from sensors other one out to HUD... just use normal multicore cable but with some Agro glands that are the dogs bollox. Hole on other end just a plug for charging and calibrating.

Fer fooooks sake Mr Draeger.... This is a fine germanic lesson in how to engineer something to be as bloody overcomplicated as possible.

I was tempted to add a 1l o2 bottle to this and some cells in the head of the scrubber as a (very) poor mans CCR but sod that. Taking it to bits to clean the counterlungs out just took me nearly 30 minutes. Yeugh.

On the other hand the DSV and hoses will work a treat on something else that's on the way...

Will be off to Cornwall the Lizard, for holls this summer and they have a dive coy on site, so would be rude not to have a few dives, will have to hire the kit though sold all mine, well most of it, come to think of it I'm sure I still have a bcd, a set of regs and some weights.
