Go on, jst you hijack my thread why don't you.

Todays word has gone from Ouch, to bugger.

The foot that I thought I may have broken 4 weeks ago (but doc didn't do anything about) is now playing up. Other pain/numbness has gone from yesterday. So sitting here with my feet up as nowt on at work.

I'm all over it like white on rice.

Did your boots take a beating then? And have you managed to get a quote to fix your textiles bud?

Now we know why you weren't leaving us...you couldn't get the power down. Are they know for clutch issues when lofting the front in each gear?

Goes to look at boots.

Not so's you'd notice. there are some marks, although I did have to contort to be able to change up a gear, so that may be it..why I tried to stay in high gears as much as poss.

Shopping for parts:
£57 for a new gear lever, similar for rear brake. Just ebaying, can get whole assembilies for less, I was thinking of getting a second set anyway to PC black, but at this rate it'll be worn off too quickly.

On a side note, the bellypan has cracked...as yet (not removed it) looks like it's just next to the mont so need to youtube for plastic welding.

edit: working on quote, emailed Harlvassons 1st thing Monday, within half an hour they had replied and forwarded my message to the UK repairer. UKR emailed for pictures by lunch, sent them off and had a reply yesterdaay...got to it this morning, wanting my number to discuss. Now that is service. Will post the details singing their praises if it all goes well.

Plastic welding reiewed on YT.
LHS rearset orders: £30
RHS rearset orderd: £33
Crash mushroom ordered: £30

Not bad, figured £100 worth of damage at roadside, just hope there are no more surprises.

Sounds like great service Ste, did you order the bits then or were you just getting quotes? Hope it's all coming together and there were no lasting injuries!
