I think the campsite is £7 per tent, not per person and there was certainly no checking up, so that's over a tank of fuel saved

The ferry price increases the closer you get to departure date. Matt mentioned the cheapest he's ever managed was £70 return iirc. Dan irksy paid around £150 at the ferry terminal as it was a last minute decision to come with us. I paid £89 for the exact same sailings as Luckypants.

Take a pack lunch in the ferry! Sandwiches are £3.50, crisps £1.50, cookie £2.10 and water £1.70!

So yeah, fuel & the ferry are the main costs, beer & food is similarly priced to the rest of the UK..

I'm hopefully going over again before the year's out but if not (even if so) certainly will attend next year.

Was a fantastic laugh and the place is unbelievable.

Ferry was £75 return inc bike and ,as said, campsite £7 but check he hasn't charged you an extra night before leaving!
Fuel and grub was main expense but not heart stopping (well maybe the big breakfasts )
