It's not on the diagram - follow the wire up from the speed sensor until you find a connector block. As I said, I think it's inside the headlight, or there about.

If you take a look at this one, you'll get an idea of what it'll look like:

Have you esteblished that it is not the rotor,part 28 in the diag, that has broken? It is a "usual suspect"

I will have time on Sunday to take my tools out. Do I need to remove the wheel to inspect the rotor?

Yep, and I'm with the BB on this it'll be the rotor, it's very fragile

Sorry, I misread that as the tacho not working! Maviczap and Biker Biggles are right - check the rotor.

My tyre shop must have torqued the axle bolt to about 2000psi and crushed the rotor. The speedo started working occasionally then stopped working altogether. Its an easy home repair (replacement).
