Default exhaust systems for cagiva raptors

hi guys,

can't seem to find a whole lot on this through search, so i'm asking straightaway:

are there some raptor ( 650 ) owners on here, and what are their experiences/choices regarding exhaust systems?
(i bet aftermarket sv-systems won't be any good...probably clearing issues with radiator, swingarm and fitting on the passengers footrests...)

i'm awaiting some info from jorge at renegade, but apart from that, what brands do you guys prefer?

cheers, and thanks, W.

I've had two sets of exhausts cans and link pipes made for my Raptor 650.

One was from MHP in Bisley, Surrey and the other by Blue Flame in Skelmersdale, Lancashire.

I have yet to use the Blue Flame system but both appear to be good quality and sound great.

If I was going out to buy a new exhaust system I would probably go for one of these:

The 650 also benefits from having an extra link pipe added to the standard headers as I have yet to find anyone who actually makes headers for the Raptor.

ah, thanks mike,
this looks pretty nice/interesting:

432 EUR is not too expensive either

How do you rate the rapter ? I wanted one of these but they were too expensive compared to the cheap deals on new suzukis. Nearly bought the thou last year... Nice

i'm just picking it up tomorrow, so i can't say too much about it just yet

i have done a testride though, and it was great to feel that little esvee motor again, so much really useable power! (with the TL i always gotta be careful with the throttle, not with this one).

I can tell you that the suspension is way better than the esvee that i owned before. it's quality stuff: marzocchi front, and sachs rear. It feels so solid, really impressive.
And then there's the brakes: twin brembo discs, with 4pot brembo calipers on them, and a brembo mastercylinder, and steel lines as standard. These babies are in a total different league than the esvee (they're even way better than the TLR brakes i got on my TLS): loads of feel, and massive stopping power!

i got this bike for about the same price as a similarly 2ndhand esvee, so i can't complain about that!

it just needs a little extra 'roar'

And they're gorgeous... Not dowdy, just really well designed. the big claw exhaust hangers over those oval cans, lovely. At least, that's how it works on the thou, I've only seen one 650 and it was a bit of a disaster... It had a sissybar, and a Baglux harness for another bike

Hmm, I think the stock ones look waaaaay better than that... Probably much quieter of course.
